Here’s another huge design from another one of my favorite Dangerhouse bands.

This is just about the worst shirt that I’ve ever made.   I hadn’t made one in almost two years, and I was rusty.   I also used a can of spray paint designed for putting fake polish on shoes, as that was all that was available to me at the time.

The design is Death from The Seventh Seal.   The phrase is his first line, meaning “I am Death.”   However, it’s delivered very coyly, almost as a friendly greeting of “I’m Death.”

More Dischord stuff.

Polaris was the band that did a lot of the music for Pete & Pete.   Three of the members were in another great band called Miracle Legion, who are amazingly influential, despite being little known.   The early New Haven punk scene really spawned some good stuff.

I thought the red would really bring out the target imagery.

These shirts are really hard to print on.   Basically, you have to wear them around for a day so that they are stretched out enough to print.

I was in this band for a while while I was living Downstate.   We played some pretty fast instrumental surf for a bunch of aged surf fans.

This shirt came with a lot of variations, including crossed pistols, pink Aaron Burr, no pistol, and variously inverted colors.

Chantal Goya, in addition to having a vibrant acting career, also put out some really good music.

This is all one stencil, rather than flipping one face to make a mirror.

I probably should have done this in blue and black.

I know that those lyrics don’t come from Dorkrockcorkrod.   Get over it.

Oh right, I like pop-punk.  I’m not embarrassed at all.

Woods is neat.   The Babies are better.

Here’s a weird one.   My brother took a trip to California with some friends in 2007 and they asked me to whip up some shirts so that they could go on The Price Is Right.

This band is really overlooked.   They’re great.  They toured with Dag Nasty in 1987.
